Attractions

SANDOWN BAY is often top of the UK sunshine league. It is a resort to suit all ages with safe, clean sandy beaches, children’s playgrounds and amusements; tennis courts, putting and a golf course nearby. There is a leisure centre with pools, squash courts and a sauna suite in the town of Sandown. Just on the outskirts can be found a windsurfing and sailing centre, the renowned dinosaur museum and also the islands only zoo. There is nightly entertainment to suit everyone from quiet bars to disco, cabaret, ballroom dancing and much more. Sandown is also unique on the Island in being fairly flat.
The Isle of Wight probably has more places of interest per square mile than any other resort in the country with stately homes, castles, craft centres and adventure parks and it is a walkers delight with miles of footpaths and beautiful scenery.
